FAQ
Answers to common questions.
Everything you need to know about how WiseLabel works, where it fits, and how to start.
What is WiseLabel?
WiseLabel is a smart color-changing label for textile products. As the product is washed and used, the label changes color and gives a visible replacement reminder.
Which products can use WiseLabel?
WiseLabel can be used in products such as underwear, baby clothing, towels, bedding, hospitality textiles, healthcare textiles, and other products where replacement timing matters.
Can the replacement cycle be customized?
Yes. The color-change timing can be adjusted for different product categories, wash frequencies, and intended usage periods.
Can I request samples before discussing a larger project?
Yes. In most cases, the first step is to review samples so you can see the label, discuss fit, and decide what kind of follow-up makes sense.
Who will reply to my inquiry?
Your inquiry is handled through WiseLabel, and we will guide the next step based on your product, category, and what you want to evaluate.
How long does the color change take?
It depends on the product category and wash frequency. For underwear, a typical cycle targets 90 days of normal use. For towels or bedding, the calibration may be longer. The timeline is set during the OEM customization process.
Is the color change reversible?
No. The transition is one-directional and permanent once triggered. Reversibility would undermine the replacement signal — so it's intentionally designed to be a one-way journey.
What colors are available for the label?
The starting and ending colors are customizable within a defined range. The most common transition is purple to amber, but other color pairs can be discussed during OEM customization.
Can WiseLabel integrate with my existing care label?
Yes. WiseLabel is designed to work within standard care label production workflows. The color-changing element can be incorporated into your existing label format, layout, and branding.
What certifications does WiseLabel have?
WiseLabel materials meet OEKO-TEX standards, which means they are certified non-toxic and safe for close-to-skin use — including baby and children's products.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the specific product format and customization level. Reach out through the contact or sample request page and we'll give you a category-specific answer.
